Roth has earned respect of Streamwood residents
I am writing to express my support for the re-election of Streamwood Village President Billie Roth. Billie has been a strong advocate for the village and has earned the support of its residents. She has been active in the Chamber of Commerce, the Kiwanis, the schools, the VFW and many, many other civic organizations, in addition to her duties as Village President.
Contrary to what some people think, there is nothing glamorous or profitable about being the mayor of a mid-sized municipality like Streamwood. Roth earns less than $10,000 per year as mayor. She and her husband Phil support themselves by working normal, everyday jobs, just like the rest of us. Billie Roth is as far removed from the label "professional politician" as you can get.
I know, and the residents of Streamwood know, that Billie Roth pours her heart and soul into the job of mayor. She does whatever it takes to try to bring people together and solve whatever problems may come up. No one has done more for this village.
Billie has earned my vote and she should have earned the vote of every resident in Streamwood.
