Candidate grasps big picture, details

I am writing to urge the voters of the City of Wheaton, who live in the East district, to vote for Tom Mouhelis in the upcoming city council election. During my time as mayor, Tom represented his constituents very well, making sure that their concerns and voices were heard. When anyone appeared before the council, he was thoughtful, respectful and he listened attentively to what was said. Tom was able to separate emotion from fact and he, without fail, voted for what was best for the city as a whole. Tom saw both the big picture and details that were behind the larger concerns. He was always mindful of the taxpayers' money and he was an advocate for what made sense for Wheaton. I appreciated serving with him on the council and believe that his strong record of public service is reason for returning him to office.
