Backs Walton for Wood Dale alderman

I support Roy Wesley for alderman Ward 2 in Wood Dale.

I have known Roy for several years and know he works hard for issues that face the city. Roy brought the idea of using biodiesel in fire trucks at Wood Dale and last year Roy brought forth the idea for the city of Wood Dale to start using alternative fuels in the city vehicles.

This is a very important issue that has to be addressed by city and other local governments across the country. This is not just a global warming concern but locally a clean air issue (the Chicago area and surrounding counties cannot meet and maintain EPA clean air standards) but a health risk issue and also on a larger scale a homeland security issue for the United States to try and meet our energy needs and not energy dependent on foreign governments that are unfriendly toward the United States.

I believe that with the efforts to use domestic and clean renewable fuels are dependent on local politicians like Roy Wesley and that his efforts to get the city of Wood Dale and the fire district are not only good for the citizens of Wood Dale but for the entire area and country.

For those reasons I endorse Roy Wesley as candidate for alderman ward 2 for the city of Wood Dale; someone needs to take a stand on the issues!
