Rob Swartz for Elburn trustee
I've been Rob Swartz's neighbor for over four years now (I promise I will return the snowblower soon) and know what type of person he is.
Rob is a former police officer who was injured on the job. I watched as he struggled through the surgeries and recovery process. He didn't quit, he didn't get frustrated. He is a person of perseverance, common sense, compassion, and has a willingness to listen, communicate, and learn.
Rob helped out the local church when they needed someone to run their St. Patrick's Day dinner.
He donates his time to teach gun safety classes. After a few years of consideration on what to do with his time since he could no longer be a police officer, he decided to start a local driving school because he wanted to make sure that teenagers got the extra time they needed to learn to drive safely and responsibly.
Rob believes in expanding Elburn's industrial park, which will bring in more jobs and tax revenue. He understands how the police department should work to maximize services while keeping costs to a minimum.
He believes that some of the visions that Elburn has are good but take way too long to implement. He will put Elburn first before personal agendas.
Don't just guess who you are going to vote for. Vote for Rob, who will help make our community even better.
