Rob Lee for District 300

I write this letter in support of my older brother, Robert Lee, a candidate for the District 300 school board. I'm a fourth-grade schoolteacher in Las Vegas. Although Rob and I frequently disagree on education issues, our upbringing has taught us that we should always treat others with respect and take responsibility for ourselves.

Some of you have had the chance to meet Rob in the past few years, some in the past few months. Knowing Rob for almost 26 years as an older brother has not always been easy for me. He's not a perfect person, but nobody in our family is.

More important to me, though, is that Rob unwaveringly demonstrates what makes him a truly impressive person. His compassion for the concerns of others is tremendous, and his passion for doing what is responsible is moving. I could not be prouder of this man who is my older brother, regardless of our disagreements about education.

I encourage each member of his community to cast their vote in support of him for the District 300 school board.
