McHenry man arrested for abuse

A McHenry resident has been arrested and charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse, authorities said Thursday.

Margarito Anacleto-Flores, 23, of 1400 Fairview Lane, was arrested after a minor child advised family members Flores had been inappropriately touching her, according to a news release from the McHenry County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators interviewed Flores who confessed to sexually abusing the minor, the release said.

Flores is charged with one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, a class 2 felony, and is being held at McHenry County Adult Correctional Facility on $60,000 bond.
