Incumbents are good leaders in Lombard Dist. 44
In Lombard Elementary District 44, six candidates are seeking four seats on the board of education.
Incumbents John Schroder, Elizabeth Kirsh, Juan Chapa Jr. and Gayle Kankovsky are experienced school board members who have made sure the district remains financially sound. They are in a good position to make the tough choices that will be presented by limited tax revenue.
Challenger Ed Maslak brings a solid understanding and earnest intentions. However he fails to make the case that he would be a better choice than current board members.
Challenger Kristina Lynch did not fill out the questionnaire or return calls inviting her to participate in the endorsement process.
We endorse Schroder, Kirsh, Chapa and Kankovsky.
