McGuire the best choice for Hanover supervisor

As a friend of Brian McGuire, I know him as a family man, a father, a Sunday school teacher and a good guy to spend time with. For more than 10 years Brian has taken his responsibility as an elected official at Hanover Township seriously and with a commitment seldom seen in local government.

He believes government should be transparent, open, and responsive. As clerk he has posted the minutes of board meetings on the web for easy access, one of few townships in Illinois doing this sort of thing. To bring residents and taxpayers closer to all of their elected officials he introduced the idea of breakfast with the board.

If you ever call the township office and ask for him, he is one of a small handful of officials who will personally return the call, usually in less than a day. These are traits we want in our leaders. Please join me in voting for Brian McGuire for Hanover Township supervisor.
