Grayslake North contest
Students in Grayslake North High School's earth science classes hope they can teach a thing or two to veteran meteorologists as they work toward a weather forecasting competition. The pupils will try to beat media and government experts in a contest to see who is more accurate in weather prediction. Assistance to the students will be provided Friday, March 27 in a visit to the Grayslake North earth science class by meteorologist and College of Lake County Professor Eric Priest. He's expected to discuss his experiences as a meteorologist at O'Hare International Airport. He worked 20 years as an aviation weather forecaster.
