Musical benefits oral health
The Aurora Junior Woman's Club and Aurora Children's Dental Services is presenting the musical "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" at 7 p.m. Friday and at 11 a.m. at 2 p.m. Saturday at West Aurora High School auditorium, 1201 W. Learn about ECC referendum
The Elgin Community College Faculty Association will host an informational open house on the upcoming ECC Referendum from 4 to 7 tonight at 2400 Big Timber Road, Elgin (northwest corner of Randall and Big Timber roads). The ECCFA has endorsed three of four candidates running for two open seats: Richard Green, Donna Shuring Resmer and Robin Lisboa. Help save the horses
Field of Dreams Horse Rescue and Adoption, a volunteer horse rescue barn in Elburn, is hosting a fundraiser bunco tournament from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at Campton Township Community Center, 5N082 Old LaFox Road. Geneva fish fry resumes
The Fox River-Geneva American Legion Post 75 has resumed Friday night fish fries through the Lenten season at the post, Second and James streets, Geneva. Hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Choices include breaded fried cod, fried shrimp, fried chicken, french fries, coleslaw, rolls and butter. A cash bar is available. Prices are $7.50 to $9.
Bowl to support ministry
The Master's Touch Ministry of Wayside Cross Ministries in Aurora will hold its fourth annual "Bowl-A-Thon" on Sunday at Parkside Lanes, 34W185 Montgomery Road in Aurora. Bowl-A-Thon bowlers are expected to participate in three games of bowling beginning at 2 p.m. The cost is $15 per bowler, and includes three games of red pin bowling, shoe rental, pizza and soft drinks.
