Police find drugs in Crystal Lake home

The Illinois State Police North Central Narcotics Task Force and the Crystal Lake Police found more than a half kilogram of cocaine worth about $51,000 at a home on the 700 block of Savannah Lane in Crystal Lake, police said. The police issued a search warrant at the home based on information that indicated narcotics trafficking was occurring at the home. Numerous items of drug paraphernalia, costing about $1,600, were also seized, police said. Also, more than $14,000 in counterfeit bills were found. Three pistols were also recovered. One of them had been reported stolen from McHenry, police said. One person was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, police said.
