America can giveth and taketh away

A 1,100-page document not even read by any of its supporters in the U.S. House and Senate, but touted as immediately necessary as a "stimulus package" for America, became law upon the signature of a president bent upon "spreading the wealth."

Mortgaging our grandchildren's future, tripling the budget deficit beyond $1.7 trillion and earmarking precious funds for a high-speed rail boondoggle between Disneyland and the Senate Majority Leader's vacation bungalow in Las Vegas represent nothing short of governmental incompetence and criminal negligence.

Thomas Jefferson most aptly exposed any government "large enough to give you everything you want" as certainly powerful enough to "take away everything you have." Politicians of any particular stripe signing on to this despicable government excess and malpractice, arrogantly violating the public trust, deserve the abject scorn of a dedicated electorate.

We take this great nation back, one precinct, one county and one state at a time demanding integrity, transparency and accountability from those entrusted with the preservation of this "last best hope of earth."
