Bolingbrook woman dies after motorcycle crash

A Bolingbrook woman died Sunday after smashing her motorcycle into a mailbox on Bedford Lane, authorities said.

Authorities said Lisa A. Adams, 42, of Bolingbrook was pronounced dead at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital at 5:22 p.m. Sunday.

Authorities said Adams was traveling north on Bedford Lane at a high rate of speed at about 5 p.m. when she encountered a curve, lost control and crashed into the mailbox.

Authorities said alcohol did not play a role and that no one else was injured in the accident.
