Speer just the ticket to lead Streamwood

It was so exciting to read about local businessman Jason Speer, candidate for Streamwood Village President, testifying before Congress on behalf of those of us concerned about our 401(k) and retirement plans. It's about time a local leader is standing up for those of us in Streamwood. For too long, our community has been too quiet and has had little voice or impact on issues impacting our community.

Not only did Jason defend the preservation of maintaining a traditional retirement plan for his workers, he did so in an economically sensible manner. He's not seeking a bailout - he's supporting an opportunity to work with the government for find a fiscally responsible way that doesn't waste taxpayer dollars.

Jason Speer is exactly the kind of leader we need for Streamwood - an advocate who watches out for his employees - just like he will watch out for all of our families after he is elected Village President. In these tough economic times, we need someone who will stand up for us and make our voices heard.

Thank you Jason Speer for showing us what true leadership looks like!
