Elburn art students to wish teacher bon voyage during dinner

Jeannette Rehmel of the Art Room in Elburn has been invited to be part of a delegation of artists spending a week in May in Paris, France, with the Geneva International Cultural Exchange Committee.

To enable Rehmel to enjoy this honor, her students are hosting a Parisian-themed benefit dinner from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 27 at the Sugar Grove Community House, 141 S. Main St.

The dinner will feature delicious pastas, salad and desserts. They also will have raffles, a silent auction, including one of Jeannette's paintings and a craft table for children. Tickets are $12 for adults or $7 for children under 10.
