Arlington Heights
• Juveniles climbed onto the roof at Ivy Hill school, 2211 N. Burke Drive, around 6:30 p.m. March 6 and wrote graffiti on a wall surrounding an air conditioning unit.
• Burglars stole a soccer bag, two soccer balls, a variety of referee clothing and accessories, and a wristwatch out of an unlocked Lexus RX330 in a village parking garage at 22 S. Vail Ave. between 7 p.m. and midnight Feb. 28. Value was estimated at $871.
• Thieves stole four village trustee campaign signs out of a yard on the 600 block of West Campbell Street between 10 p.m. March 5 and 7 a.m. March 6 and substituted campaign signs supporting another candidate.
• Vandals sprayed a 2005 Ford Mustang with light pink paint and tossed toilet paper and eggs on the car at a home on the 2600 block of North Ridge Avenue between 10 p.m. March 5 and 2 a.m. March 6.
Des Plaines
• Burglars broke into a 2008 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck in a driveway on the 1500 block of Webster Lane between 8 p.m. March 5 and 7:45 a.m. March 6 and stole a laptop computer and radar detector. Loss was estimated at $1,700.
• Burglars broke into a Chrysler Town and Country minivan in a hotel lot at 2930 S. River Road between midnight and 9 a.m. March 8 and stole a GPS unit for a loss estimated at $400.
•Vandals cut the passenger's-side brake line on a 1999 Jeep Cherokee in an apartment lot on the 100 block of East Northwest Highway between 11 p.m. March 7 and noon March 8. Damage was estimated at $200.
Mount Prospect
• A man in his 30s exposed himself to a 28-year-old woman at an apartment building on the 1300 block of South Elmhurst Road around 4:50 p.m. March 8.
• Vandals smashed two bedroom windows and two kitchen windows at an apartment on the 300 block of Hawthorne Circle between 11 a.m. March 6 and 11:30 a.m. March 7. Damage was estimated at $1,200.
• Vandals shattered the rear passenger's-side window on a 1999 Ford Contour in an apartment lot on the 300 block of Hawthorne Circle between 3 and 10:30 p.m. March 6. Damage was estimated at $150.
• Vandals shattered the front driver's-side window on a 1999 Dodge Stratus in an apartment lot on the 2000 block of West Algonquin Road between 11:30 p.m. March 7 and 4 p.m. March 8. Damage was estimated at $150.
• A motorist drove over the front lawn at a home on the 400 block of North Emerson between 10:30 p.m. March 5 and 2:50 a.m. March 6. Damage was estimated at $250.
Rolling Meadows
• Reuben Ramos, 25, of the 500 block of West Dempster Street, Mount Prospect, was arrested around 8:30 p.m. March 4 at Wal-Mart, 1460 Golf Road, and charged with retail theft.
• Thieves stole a bicycle valued at $287 from a bike rack on the 3100 block of Martin around 6:20 p.m. March 5.
• Burglars broke into a car in a hotel lot at 3405 Algonquin Road between 6:30 and 11:15 p.m. March 5 and stole a GPS valued at $250.
Wheeling
• Rutilo Garces-Munoz, 48, of the 500 block of Fairwayview Drive, Wheeling, was arrested around 1:55 p.m. March 7 at Target, 1400 W. Lake-Cook Road, and charged with retail theft. Reports said he took two bottles of cologne valued at $74. His court date is March 30.
• Gregg W. Peters, 20, of the 100 block of Mayer Avenue, Wheeling, was arrested around 12:30 a.m. March 8 after a traffic stop on the 100 block of Northgate Parkway and charged with local ordinance possession of marijuana. His court date is April 8.
