Naperville library evacuated
A malfunctioning fan belt on a heating and air conditioning unit apparently caused the smoke that forced the evacuation of Naperville's Naper Boulevard Library for about 15 minutes Wednesday afternoon, authorities said. No injuries were reported and there was no fire, Assistant Fire Chief Mike Zywanski said. He said there was a "light haze of smoke" on the library's lower level around 12:50 p.m. and the building at 2035 S. Naper Blvd. was briefly evacuated.
