Police hunting Bolingbrook bank robber
Bolingbrook police and the FBI are hunting for a man who robbed a Citizens Financial Bank Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities said the man entered the bank at 310 S. Weber Road around 2:30 p.m. and passed a note to the teller demanding money.
No weapon was involved.
Police said the man took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled north on foot.
He is described as a white man in his mid-20s, standing about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 165 pounds. The suspect had facial hair - possibly a goatee - and was wearing a red Cincinnati Reds baseball hat, a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Authorities say they are examining a possible link to a similar incident in Minooka.
