This doesn't look like change for the better
since the obama campaign has cleared itself of any hanky-panky with rod blagojevich, we have also seen their vetting process for appointees up close and personal recently. and, we should not be very happy with what we have seen.
We've seen Bill Richardson drop out because he wants to clear himself from various corruption charges. Then, we dealt with the Burris mess but the Obama campaign cleared itself of that little fiasco. Next, we had to contend with Tim Geithner, selected to run our Treasury yet seems unable to follow the very tax laws he is supposed to enforce.
We see Carol Browner, Obama designated energy czar, who was the Clinton EPA Director. She defied a federal judge's direct order to preserve her computer files and erased them anyway. The judge said Browner's actions were "contumacious conduct." We have Clinton retread Attorney General Eric Holder, who OK'd Marc Rich's pardon. And, other questions about Mr. Holder involve his role with the U.S. agents' seizing of Elian Gonzalez, his ties to the pardons of 16 Puerto Rican nationalists in 1999, the 1996 fundraising scandal of then Vice-President Gore, the appointment of special prosecutors for the Whitewater case, the Monica Lewinsky scandal, and the 177 other pardons Clinton granted on his last day in office. This is the nation's chief law enforcement officer.
Like Monty Hall used to say, we too should inquire as to what's behind the next door. This is supposed to be change? I don't think so. Seems more like a mutation.
