Learn about summer mission trip to Uganda Seminars
Lutheran
A group from Rejoice Lutheran Church will visit Uganda on a mission trip this summer. The community is welcome to learn more at an informational meeting immediately following the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday. Rejoice is at 0N377 N. Mill Creek Drive in southwest Geneva. The trip will take place June 15-July 1 and is sponsored by the Christian organization Loving One By One.
"Our mission trip mostly focuses around the orphans of Uganda," Ron Hubbard, a Rejoice Lutheran member, said in a prepared statement. Hubbard and his wife traveled to Uganda with Loving One By One last year. "We volunteer at several orphanages, work in the slums of Kampala, Uganda, conduct medical clinics in several outlying villages, including an AIDS village, and spread the word of God through our actions."
