• Author Meg Cabot reads from and signs copies of books from her new children's series, "New Girl, Allie Finkle's Rules for Girls," at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19 at the Tivoli Theatre, 5021 Highland Ave., Downers Grove. The event also includes a film about Cabot's works. Purchase an "Allie Finkle" book from Anderson's Bookshop in Downers Grove (at 5112 Main St.) along with a $6 ticket and receive admission for two (one parent and one child) to the event.
