Kids offered chance at stage experience

Steel Beam Theatre, 111 W. Main St., St. Charles, is taking registration for its Winter Session Acting Classes.

The classes offer students, in several age groups, the chance to fine tune their skills. There are two classes for beginners as well as students with stage experience. To register, call (630) 587-8521, or visit SteelBeamTheatre.com.

In "Storybook Theater (The Three Bears)," students, ages 7 to 9, will learn to bring to life the beloved tale while gaining basic knowledge of the craft of performing. The six-week class, presented by instructor Lori Holm, will be from 4:15 - 5:15 p.m. Wednesdays, Feb. 11 to March 18. Cost is $90.

In "Center Stage," students, ages 10 to 14, will shine as they perform improv scenes while gaining knowledge of acting on stage through theater games. The six-week classes, presented by instructor Lori Holm, will be from 4:15 to 5:45 p. m. Thursdays, Feb. 12 to March 19. Cost is $110.
