St. Patrick School to hold talent show on Thursday

St. Patrick Catholic School will present a school talent show at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5 at the Arcada Theatre, 105 E. Main St. in St. Charles. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m. There is no charge for admission and the public is welcome.

Thirty-two acts will be performed by students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Acts will include singing, dancing, music, comedy, and even a magician. Intermission will feature David Kovac, a classically trained actor and former street juggler who specializes in combining original, intelligent humor with cleverly crafted magical routines. There will also be an opening and closing act featuring all of the student participants.

The talent show is being produced by school parent Suzanne Positano, who has produced talent shows for Wasco Elementary and Thompson Junior High and is a talent scout for some of the top talent agencies in Chicago. She will be joined by Larry Rossi, the Band Teacher at St. Patrick School, who has directed the Kane County Talent Show for the past 25 years.

St. Patrick Catholic School is a fully accredited school for children in kindergarten through eighth grade, and is at 118 N. 5th St. in St. Charles.
