Illinois government has corrupt history

Through the years our state has been corrupted by politicians only for greed. It goes back to Mayor Thompson in the days of Al Capone and continues. The backroom boys pick your candidates for office. You have no choice. Both parties are responsible. It all starts in Chicago. Illinois has been cursed by certain politicians, no names mentioned but you know who they are. As Chicago is part of Cook County much of the tax money goes to Chicago. Corruption was started a long time ago and continues to fester in our state. As you, the voters, let it happen by voting who they say you should vote for. I suggest our politicians watch "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" and maybe they may get the answer of why they were picked by the voters.
