Romanek acquires two office properties

NORTHBROOK - Romanek Properties Ltd, a private investment and development firm in Northbrook, announced that it has acquired the headquarters of both Claymore Securities, a 54,808-square-foot office building in Lisle and Analytical Bio-Chemistry Laboratories Inc., an 89,975-square-foot office research lab in Columbia, Mo. Romanek purchased the Claymore Securities property for $10.5 million in late 2008 from an undisclosed seller. The building is located on Corporate Drive just one mile east of Naperville and Warren Roads. Financial terms were not disclosed. The ABC Labs property, located on Discovery Drive at the intersection of Highway 63 and Gans Road, was purchased as a sale/lease-back for $16.5 million in late 2008.
