Teen charged in body dump of Elburn youth surrenders
The first of three people accused of dumping an Elburn teenager's body in Chicago has surrendered to police, officials said this morning.
Jordan D. Billek, 18, of the 8N100 block of Grand Arbor Lane, Maple Park, was processed Wednesday night at the St. Charles police station and released on $2,000 bond, according to the Kane County State's Attorney's Office.
Billek is charged with obstructing justice in the death of 17-year-old Michael York of Elburn. According to a grand jury indictment, Billek and two other people disposed of York's body on a Chicago street Dec. 16, 2007 after York's apparent drug overdose death at a party in St. Charles.
Also charged with obstructing justice but not in custody are Nathan L. Green, 22, of the 20000 block of Oak Lane, Maple Park, and Lindsey Parker, 23, of the 4000 block of Royal Fox Drive, St. Charles. Green also is charged with heroin delivery.
