Treatment center open again
Northwest Community Hospital's Lake Zurich Treatment Center at 1201 S. Rand Road reopened Tuesday and has returned to its normal business hours. The facility, open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, had been closed for three weeks due to clean up from a water line break on Dec. 29. No appointment is necessary at the Lake Zurich Treatment Center, which offers treatment of bruises, sprains, sore throats, broken bones, ear infections, eye injuries, bronchitis and influenza. Lab draw and imaging services are also provided. Hainesville ballot placement lottery
A lottery will be held to determine ballot order for Hainesville village board candidates who simultaneously filed nominating petitions for the April 7 election in the village of Hainesville, Village Clerk Kathy Metzler announced Tuesday. The lottery is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 6:45 p.m. in the village hall council chambers, 100 N. Hainesville Road. The lottery will determine ballot placement for Theodore (Ted) Mueller and Linda Soto in the village president race, which carries a 4-year term. Ballot placement will also be determined for three candidates seeking 4-year trustee seats. Those candidates are Deborah Lee Bonds, Gerry Daley and Georgeann Duberstein.
District 128 ballot placement lottery
Libertyville-Vernon Hills Area High School District 128 officials said Tuesday a lottery will be held to determine ballot placement between two candidates who simultaneously filed nominating petitions for the April 7 election. The lottery is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 30 at 8:30 a.m. in the office of Prentiss G. Lea, District 128 Administration Center, 50 Lakeview Parkway, Suite 101, Vernon Hills. The affected candidates are Patrick Groody and Ellen E. Mauer, who are seeking 4-year terms.
