3 charged with dumping Elburn teen's body
A Kane County grand jury has indicted three people accused of disposing of an Elburn teen's body.
Maple Park residents Jordan D. Billek, 18, Nathan L. Green, 22, and Lindsey Parker, 23, are each charged with felony obstructing justice in the drug overdose death of 17-year-old Michael York of Elburn.
The trio are accused of taking York's body from a St. Charles residence and leaving it on a Chicago street on Dec. 16, 2007 in an attempt "to avoid prosecution," according to the charges. Green also is charged with heroin delivery on the same date.
None of the suspects was in custody Tuesday, and the Kane County state's attorney's office had no comment.
Court records show Green, of the 20000 block of Oak Lane, has an extensive criminal history in Kane County, including multiple theft and forgery charges.
Billek, of the 8N100 block of Grand Arbor Lane, and Parker each have faced traffic citations, and Parker also has faced alcohol-related charges.
Officials did not provide an address for Parker but, according to court records from 2007, the suspect previously lived on the 4000 block of Royal Fox Drive in St. Charles.
Obstructing justice is a Class 4 felony punishable by one to three years in prison or probation and fines.
