People need bailout, not the banks
Where is the bailout for all of us who have listened to our "leaders" and taken our hard-earned money and put it into 401(ks) so we could have additional income when we retire? After reviewing our finances with our adviser, we have learned about 43 percent of our hard-earned savings is gone.
And when you are within five years of retirement, how do we get it back? Why don't our government leaders take the $700 billion and return the money to us instead of helping companies that pay their executives millions of dollars in salaries and bonuses?
The executives running these companies should have to reduce their incomes and put the money back into their companies to keep them operating.
Get the money back to the people who earned it and then we can afford to shop again. This would get the economy moving up again. We can't spend when we have lost so much. We need what we have left so we can pay our ever climbing taxes and utilities.
Give the working folks a break.
