Kane County Forest Preserve District plans program for preschoolers
Send your 4- or 5-year-old on a nature adventure during the Kane County Forest Preserve District's "Little Acorns" program.
The popular monthly program is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 15, at Tekakwitha Woods Forest Preserve in St. Charles. Choose from either the 10 to 11 a.m. or 1 to 2 p.m. session.
"Little Acorns" includes a combination of stories, nature hikes, songs and crafts. "Tricky Tracks and Animal Signs" will be the theme this month. It is sure to be a fun learning experience for your child.

Registration is $5 per child and may be paid in advance or at the door. Advance registration is recommended as this program regularly sells out.
During the program, parents and siblings may wait in the McGuire House, enjoy the interactive exhibits in the Nature Center, or enjoy a hike on their own.
