Vehicle crashes into Schaumburg bookstore; no injuries

A vehicle reportedly struck the outside of Schaumburg's Barnes & Noble store Monday afternoon on Golf Road without causing any damage or injuries.

The incident occurred at approximately 4 p.m., Schaumburg police Sgt. John Nebl said.

Though there were no injuries or readily apparent damage, Schaumburg firefighters were dispatched to the scene as a precaution to assess the structural integrity of the building, Nebl said.
