Township grateful for area's generosity

Palatine Township would like to extend its sincere thanks and gratitude to all the donors, churches, schools and other organizations for making it possible to provide food and gifts to families in need.

Only through your caring hearts and helpful hands was it possible for the township to assist 380 families with Thanksgiving dinners, 370 families in this year's Adopt-A-Family Program and deliver 555 Angel Tree gifts to financially disadvantaged children and senior citizens.

It is truly amazing to see so many people within our community come together as one, while facing tough economic times themselves, and help and support others in need.

We would never be able to reach out or provide so many quality services and programs without support from our caring community.

On behalf of the families who benefited from your generosity, Palatine Township gives many thanks and extends our warm wishes for a happy and healthy New Year.
