Navistar boss expects engine deal with Ford soon

Navistar International Corp. expects to resolve a dispute with Ford Motor Co. in the "near future," Chief Executive Officer Daniel Ustian said.

Ustian made the comment on a conference call today. Warrenville-based Navistar and Dearborn, Michigan-based Ford have been in a dispute related to diesel engines Navistar supplies to Ford for use in large pickup trucks.
