Registration open for MCC test prep class

Registration is under way for the Paraprofessional Test Preparation class that will meet from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays, Jan. 10-Feb. 7 at McHenry County College.

The Paraprofessional Test Preparation class intended to serve as a refresher course of reading, writing and math skills in preparation to take the ACT WorkKeys® Assessment. It is designed for those who plan to work as paraprofessionals in education systems. Successful completion of the WorkKeys® Assessment is one of the Illinois State Board of Education options to meet the paraprofessional requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act.

Fee is $60. To register, call the MCC Registration Office at (815) 455-8588 and register with class ID: NKC S06-001. Prep class students will be automatically registered for the Feb. 14 test date. The test fee is $55 and payable the day of the test.
