Molex earns Emmy for leadership

LISLE - Molex Inc. announced that it will be awarded a Technology & Engineering Emmy award from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in recognition of its pioneering connector design for High Definition Multimedia Interface. The award, which is shared by ten companies involved in the development of HDMI, will be formally presented to Molex at NATAS's 60th Annual Emmy Awards ceremony, held at the International Consumer Electronics Show, Las Vegas, on Jan. 7. As a member of the HDMI consortium, Molex helped in the delivery of high-definition content to consumers through the electromechanical design of the HDMI connector and cable.
