Round Lake 45, Vernon Hills 43: Amber Phillips' 2 free throws with 24 seconds left snapped a 43-43 tie, as the Panthers rallied to win the North Suburban Prairie Division game.

Stephanie Infante's 3-pointer with a minute left pulled Round Lake (6-0, 2-0) even.

Vernon Hills (1-6, 0-2) led by nine points in the opening quarter and was up 28-23 at halftime.

Infante and Labrenthia Murdock led Round Lake in scoring with 12 points apiece. Chanee Brown and Phillips added 8 and 7, respectively.

Vernon Hills received 17 points and 8 rebounds from Jessica Schwartz and 16 points from Sarah Krippinger, who sank 3 of her four 3-pointers in the first quarter. Jamie Rucks had 6 points (two 3s), 3 assists and 3 rebounds.

Carmel 37, Resurrection 28: Tiffany Hendrickson scored 14 points for the Corsairs in their home win.

St. Joseph (Wis.) 41, Lakes 32: Mary Doupis had 8 points for the Eagles.

Waukegan 54, Grayslake North 43: The Knights lost the nonconference game despite 16 points from Ali Vlahos (four 3-pointers) and 14 from Lauren Erickson. Kinsey Siler had 7 points and 8 rebounds.
