Santa breakfast to benefit charity

VERNON HILLS - The Children's Heart Foundation is hosting a Breakfast with Santa event from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at Westfield Hawthorn's food court in Vernon Hills. The price is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Proceeds benefit The Children's Heart Foundation. A hot breakfast and juice from McDonald's and coffee from Caribou Coffee will be served. Goody bags and drawings for prizes will be part of the event.
