Time to throw out 'entitled' lawmakers

Apparently it is time for a voters revolt against the "entitled" incumbent legislators, both federal and state, and vote the incumbents out. Maybe eventually incumbents will start to listen to their constituents again. These people have decided they are entitled to hold these positions and will them to their offspring upon retirement, witness Bill Lipinski and John Stroger, whose sons were anointed to their father's seats, and now Emil Jones believes his son should be, also.

What have any of these sons done to deserve these positions? Then after they get in to power, what do they do? Look at Stroger. After he gets the highest tax rate in the country, he wants to borrow $700 Million to balance his budget.

The feds vote $850 billion to be parceled out to Paulson's buddies, but that isn't enough. Now another $800 billion is needed. Six weeks ago Citi Group was looking to buy Wachovia, then Paulson gives them $25 billion and now he gives them another $20 billion. What is going on in Washington? I am sick and tired of "too big to fail." If the taxpayers give the auto industry $25 billion, what will change? The same contracts will still be in force. Let them file Chapter 11 and restructure contracts.

The only thing the incumbents seem to know is how to spend more and more dollars. Soon, and not later, the feds and the state are going to be bankrupt.
