Glendale Heights man arrested after stabbing
A 20-year-old Glendale Heights man is facing aggravated battery charges after a stabbing that left one victim injured.
Robert M. Davison, of 253 Robert Court, was arrested Monday by Glendale Heights police near the 200 block of Shorewood Drive.
Police responded to the scene after a report of a victim being stabbed in the side and the suspect fleeing the scene, according to reports. While searching for a man described by witnesses, police said they found Davison near the crime scene.
After being charged with aggravated battery, Davison was transported to DuPage County jail to await bond court, police said Tuesday.
The victim was taken to Adventist GlenOaks Medical Center in Glendale Heights with non life-threatening injuries.
Police said the stabbing wasn't random. They said Davison knew and sought out the victim.
