Aurora cops arrest burglary suspects near Eola, I-88

Aurora police, with the help of Illinois State Police, pursued and arrested several suspects early Tuesday afternoon who were believed to be involved in a recent home burglary on the city's west side.

Aurora police spokesman Dan Ferrelli said the pursuit began in the 2500 block of Coach Street near Surrey Lane just before 1 p.m.

Ferrelli said the arrests caused a significant traffic backup on the westbound Reagan Memorial Tollway but he believed most of it had been cleared by 2:30 p.m.
