Holiday wine event at Entourage in Schaumburg

Entourage's Holiday Wine Spectacular includes hors d'oeuvres and a chance to sample among more than 75 wines. The wines are available for purchase at wholesale prices and will be delivered to the restaurant for pickup before Thanksgiving. Entry is $50.

Beaujolais bounty

French law requires Beaujolais Nouveau to be released no earlier than the third Thursday of each November. Celebrate the latest vintage during dinner service at Brasserie JO, where the newly released wine costs $8.50 per glass or $34 per bottle.

Food, family, fun

Village Tavern's Family-Friendly Nights feature an all-you-can-eat broasted chicken dinner plus two other dinners for less than $10. Children ages 9 and younger can order from the kids' menu for half price, and they can sing and dance on stage with a pianist who provides entertainment.
