Happy to be with Buddy Foundation

After retiring from 40 years of nursing, I decided to volunteer some time for animals.

I first went to that shelter in Bloomingdale, which I am so relieved to read has finally been shut down. After many nights of not sleeping because of the horrible conditions, I had to quit.

Luckily I found the Buddy Foundation. You cannot find a more caring group of people, and I have happily fostered for them and now volunteer at their new shelter.
