Chiropractor to hold food drive to benefit pantry
Dr. Michael Cody in speaking with Betty Post, a member of the board of the Cary-Grove Food Pantry, learned that the month of September had the highest need for food and other supplies for local families to date; more than 180 families came to the pantry for help. It is projected that the need for assistance to local families this Holiday Season is going to be just as great as in September.
Dr. Michael Cody of Cody Chiropractic Wellness Center is hosting a Food Drive the last two weeks of November and the month of December at Cody Chiropractic Center, 930 Route 22, Fox River Grove. Dr. Cody is encouraging new patients to stop by for a free consultation and spinal exam with their minimum donation of $20 or food and supplies for the Cary-Grove Food Pantry. Toilet paper and diapers size 5 are severally needed.
"Our office is really looking forward to helping the Food Pantry obtain supplies and food for families through utilizing their buying power," Dr. Cody said. "We love the opportunity to contribute our time and resources to people in exchange for their donation that will help the Cary-Grove Food Pantry."
