Activists urge teens to make a difference in the world

A renowned activist urged Libertyville High School students to think globally and help children in developing nations during an uplifting presentation Friday morning.

"The challenge facing our generation is to end the worst forms of poverty in the world," Craig Kielburger, founder of the Free the Children organization, told hundreds of assembled teens. "Our world has more than enough (money). The question is, whether we have the will."

Here's a look at Kielburger's efforts and the problems he's trying to overcome, by the numbers.

1.1 billion: People worldwide living on less than a dollar a day.

113 million: The number of children ages 5 to 11 who have never been to school
