The Pampered Chef offers budget tips

ADDISON - The Pampered Chef has partnered with self-proclaimed "budget babe" Robyn Moreno, author of the newly-released book "Practically Posh: The Smart Girls Guide to a Glam Life," to offer expert insights and tips on how to lead a budget-friendly lifestyle. Addison-based Pampered Chef is offering a week's worth of new, affordable recipes, available for free on pamperedchef.com. At around $2 per serving to feed a family of six, these options are budget-friendly, offering a low-cost dinner that can be ready in 30 minutes or less.

Business, employee seminars scheduled

LAKE ZURICH - Space is still available for the first Better Employees - Better Business seminars sponsored by the Lake Zurich Area Chamber of Commerce. The first session, "Interviewing & Hiring Skills Workshop" takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18. "Improving Productivity with Engaged Employees" runs at the same time Tuesday, Dec. 9. Each session is $30, which includes lunch, and takes place at the Re/Max Training room on the first floor of the 1st Bank Plaza Building, Chase Bank, in Lake Zurich. Nationally recognized professional trainer, speaker Mark Ernst of Ernst Enterprises, will conduct the interactive seminars.
