8 cited in Kane Co. alcohol sting

Employees of eight Kane County businesses were cited for selling alcohol to minors in an undercover police sting, officials announced this week.

The liquor compliance checks, headed up by the sheriff's department, Illinois State Police and the Illinois Liquor Commission, took place in unincorporated areas Thursday Nov. 6.

Those cited were:

• Ryan P. Mahaney, 32, of DeKalb, at Blackberry Inn, Route 47 and Main Street, Elburn.

• Dawn R. Getz, 31, of Montgomery, at Parkside Lanes, 34W185 Montgomery Road, Aurora.

• Nicole A. Nebren, 26, of Batavia, at Rudy's Place, 900 Hill Ave., Aurora.

• Jessica E. Garcia, 35, of Plano, at Country Stop Citgo, 5S595 Route 47, Sugar Grove.

• Benjamin R. Zarate, 25, of Geneva, at Mill Creek Country Market, 39W250 Herrington Blvd., Geneva.

• Autumn M. Allen, 22, of Kirkland, at The Winner's Circle, 50W226 Old State Road, Maple Park.

• Jodi M. Massie, 39, of Aurora, at Blackjack's Gentlemen's Club, 7N657 Route 25, Elgin.

• Victoria M. Delmar, 32, of Sycamore, at Lil Jim's Country Tavern, 47W739 Route 64, Virgil.
