During a 55-year journalism career, I learned the instant and durable impression headlines make upon readers. The Daily Herald's headline over the article reporting Rep. Roskam's re-election ("Roskam wins, but vote is questioned") implies his victory was tainted, without any evidence cited of the alleged "voting irregularities" claimed by his opponent. You diminish the citizens of the 6th District, who decisively returned Peter to Congress.
