Naperville police investigate home invasion

Naperville police are investigating a home invasion at an apartment on the city's northwest side.

Cmdr. Dave Hoffman said two men knocked on the door of a second-floor apartment in the 700 block of Inland Circle Monday afternoon, displayed handguns and robbed three people after restraining them.

An undisclosed amount of money and other items were stolen in the robbery, Hoffman said.

A 28-year-old man, a 24-year-old woman and a juvenile were inside the apartment at the time of the robbery. None of them were hurt.

Police were notified of the robbery at 1:35 p.m. Investigators were told the suspects fled on foot. Police have not released any descriptions of the pair.
