Thanks for great Peanut Day

I want to publicly thank the citizens of Crystal Lake and honor our High Donor, Snap On Tools, for their support of the Crystal Lake Kiwanis Peanut Day efforts. The people of Crystal Lake were their usual generous selves, and we had a record collection that will be donated to local and international children's charities.

In the past we have been able to assist children at Peace 4 All, Options and Advocacy, Friendship House, as well an orphanage in Vietnam. We have also extended help to individual children in need in our community.

Snap On Tools gave us a very generous donation to kick off the sale and told us to keep the peanuts! This corporate generosity is commendable. They are great community citizens.
