Election of Obama is just so incredible!

I still can't believe that Sen. Obama was elected president, that such a wonderful and beautiful and meaningful thing has happened.

That someone has been chosen, as our leader, who inspires hope in the whole world.

That there is reason to believe that the children coming after me may have a chance for peace and security and that one man can fill me and millions of others with such overwhelming trust.

I feel that something magical has happened, and I have to stop every so often to remind myself of what it is. It is just so incredible!

I know that Sen. Obama's task is enormous and may be difficult to accomplish, but I truly believe that his whole heart and soul are in the job and that he has the extraordinary intelligence, maturity, emotional steadiness and strength of will that is needed to push our country forward out of the deep hole that we find ourselves in.

And, very importantly, he has the foresight to surround himself with people who are intellectually able to work with him on the daunting problems ahead.

He is a gift of hope for the people of the world.
